Our Journey:

From a Living Room to a Movement

Our Story

In 2020, our journey began in a humble setting—our founder’s living room, where we held our first coding class for six eager girls, all learning Scratch programming on a single computer. From these modest beginnings, our vision grew. By 2021, we expanded our reach to accommodate 20 learners, including boys who showed interest, thanks to the generous support of NIPA University, which provided a free learning space and essential resources.Recognizing the growing need for our programs, we took a significant step in October 2021 by extending our efforts into secondary and primary schools. We began offering coding lessons, career talks, and mentorship sessions, engaging with over 500 girls across seven schools and the broader community. To further our impact, we launched online classes to reach learners who couldn’t attend our in-person programs, overcoming barriers related to internet access and computer availability. In 2022, we successfully provided computers and internet connections to 50 girls, allowing them to fully participate in our programs.

As we continued to grow, we identified a pressing need for job opportunities and talent placement within the community. In response, we pivoted our program offerings to include job readiness training and support for career placement, ensuring that our graduates are not only skilled but also positioned for success in the job market. We now help companies find the right talent and connect both women and, to a lesser extent, men to valuable opportunities.
